Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South

For my yoga retreat, our group stayed at a hotel in the Times Square area. The rooms were spacious and the staff was very accommodating in keeping our luggage after check-out. Despite some minor inconveniences with cleanliness and noise, the convenient location near Penn Station made it easy for us to explore the city and attend our yoga classes. Overall, a decent option for a short stay in the city center.

The friendly staff always greeted me warmly, and the room was spacious, clean, and equipped with a comfy bed. The hotel's proximity to Penn station and subway stations was convenient. However, the slow WiFi was expected. I appreciated the security measures in place, but felt slightly uncomfortable with the surveillance by staff. Despite some room inconveniences and a lack of curtains, the peaceful ambiance and soundproof windows made for a restful stay.

So glad we choose it, it's ideal base for staying in New York. 34th Street-Penn metro station is a short walk to the place, some 15 minutes on foot.

The prepaid breakfast was not expensive with plenty of food.

The staff - some of them were not very friendly.

Overall, I found my stay at the hotel to be mediocre. The location was decent, close to Times Square but a bit rough. The room, once changed, was comfortable with a microwave and fridge. However, issues with cleanliness and a sense of unease due to the street atmosphere detracted from the experience.

We loved the hotel and New York City, had 2 fabulous days there. The king room was warm, it included central heating, a private safe and cable programming. The staff were amicable and attentive, everything was perfect.

It was clean & reasonably spacious hotel, perfect location and staff. The property was stunningly beautiful and the attached restaurant was great. We loved it during our nice stay.

The hotel's prime location and comfy beds are like finding a dollar slice in a city full of gourmet pies, and the staff's top-notch service is the cherry on top.

Disappointed that the rate didn't include breakfast or complimentary coffee. Although the local slang is "on point," it was a bit frosty not having that morning fuel included.

Our room was not only brand-new, but also functional with comfortable beds and fresh towels, as example. The staff was pleasant, best, and everything was great.

I keep returning for the caring staff. Once, they found my lost car keys. The place suits me perfectly, offering everything I need - Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, Bar, Fitness studio, Flat-screen TV. I always come back for my city trip.

Where to begin.

Staying in this hotel was a real treat! the staff here made us feel like VIPs, especially Tim at the front desk, who made my daughter's birthday trip extra special. the room was not only clean but also quiet and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other NYC hotels. the beds were super comfy, the TV was a good size, and the refrigerator worked well. the location was spot-on, close to great restaurants and the Javits Center, making it very convenient for exploring Midtown.

It would have been nice to have more storage in the bathroom, like a shelf under the counter. the towel situation could be improved - we received varying amounts each day and had to call for more, which took longer than expected.

However, I encountered maintenance issues and unwelcome static friction. Staff were friendly and accommodating, balancing out the minor inconveniences. Ultimately, a comfortable and pleasant experience.
